Erin is a positive, caring, joyful person, with a master’s degree in education. She is also a National Board-Certified teacher with a specialty certification in reading development, and has taught professionally in elementary school classrooms for over 15 years, including 5 years in kindergarten and 6 years in first grade. Erin prides herself on creating highly engaging, structured, and purposeful lessons that are tailored to the needs of each student. Throughout her years of teaching kindergarten, first grade, and developing curriculums, including for GATE programs, she has applied customized approaches to meet unique student needs across learning levels and styles, gravitating toward hands-on and inquiry-based techniques, and always with parent input and involvement.
