Kelley is a gentle, encouraging, passionate educator with more than four years experience teaching TK and Kindergarten aged children in a self-contained classroom. As a Kindergarten teacher Kelley makes learning fun by teaching through songs, games, stories, art, and movement. Before teaching Kindergarten, Kelley was a full time homeschool teacher, taking pride in inspiring intrinsic curiosity and self-confidence in her students. Kelley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art at the University of California, Los Angeles, before going back to school to earn her Multiple Subject teaching credential and Master’s of Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She conducted her own research on elementary education practices internationally, visiting and volunteering in schools in Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and India.
